Problem Description:
The exhaust hose keeps coming off the waste bottle when we start the Statim machine. The diagram in the operator's manual is not clear. Can you help? |
| Reasons |
| 1. The nut needs to be tightened or is stripped,the ferral is missing from the nut assy. |

Solutions |
| 1. If the fitting cannot be tightened or the ferral that crimps the tubing is missing or damaged, replace the fitting and before installing, cut 1 inch off the end of the tubing. Make sure the tubing is pushed all the way into the fitting, hand tighten and then using a pair of pliers, tighten another 1/2 to 3/4 turn. |
