Sterilizer Manufacturer:
Pelton & Crane
Model of Sterilizer:
OCM
Problem Title:
Pelton and Crane OCM water stays in the chamber after venting
Problem Description:
I recently cleaned the sterilizer Pelton and Crane OCM omni calve, and now at the end of the cycle, after it vents, the water goes back into the chamber. What shall I do?
Reasons
1. There may be some debri in the valve or there could be a small hole in the condensor tube.

Solutions

1. Is it possible that the chamber filter was taken out for cleaning and not replaced? If the filter is installed, do the following.
Run a cycle and bring it up to operating pressure. Vent it thru the fill side of the function valve. If this has an autovent function, turn the multivalve to fill and turn the timer off and let it vent. Empty the resovoir and refill and try to run another cycle to see if water remains in the chamber after a cycle.
