Sterilizer Manufacturer:
Pelton & Crane
Model of Sterilizer:
OCM
Problem Title:
Pelton & Crane OCM- Temperature Gauge
Problem Description:
Temperature gauge is not moving although the test strip reads safe.
Reasons
1. Temperature gage may be bad. If pressure gage is reading normally as per set on previous cycles, then either the temperature gage is defective or the bellows is defective or dirty.

Solutions

1. Unscrew bellows from bellows housing and inspect bellows and housing seat from the top back of resovoir. If dirty, gently wipe the tapered tip of the bellows to remove any debris and using a q-tip
or something similiar, clean the plastic insert inside the bellows
housing using a little alcohol. re-assemble and test again. If pressure gage shows correct pressure and test strip indicate sterile, then most like temp gage needs to be replaced. (Pressure must be between 250-275 degrees for the entire sterilization time).
