Problem Title:
Tuttnauer 1730E Display dimes and temp drops eraticly then fails low temp displayed |

Problem Description:
Display dimes at the same time the temp drops this happens through out the heating cycle. Sometimes the safety valve goes on. It never gets to sterilization then it fails and indicates low temp on the dispay. This is Michael from MS direct in Montreal Canada. In the past we have bought several sterilizers from you for our costumers. I hope that you can help me with this problem. |
| Reasons |
| 1. It is hard to guess the exact reasons, a test needed. However, some analysis may help you to fix this machine. 1) Maybe the digital or display board out of order. Please give us the machine serial number (or the year made before 1993 or after 1993) because you say it display dime suddently. 2) The machine is out of calibration: No way to get sterilization mode at all. 3) MOSTLY, the problem is from the temperature sensor. The sensor is out of work. This will cause the steam Pressure Value does NOT match Temperature Value, which will make the machine readings like out of calibration 2) above. Definitely no way to get sterilization mode. |

| 1. Following the technical manual to check the temperature sensor reading first. make sure it is not the problem. If the temperature sensor is ok, then check its pressure sensor. If the pressure sensor is ok, the do a calibration. If after calibration, it still does not work, then you need to think about the boards. If always dime, then mostly it is the display board. If only occasionally dime, then mostly the problem is from the digital board. In very few case, it also may be caused by the Analoge (A/D) board or power supply. |
