Sterilizer Manufacturer: Pelton & Crane |
Model of Sterilizer: Magnaclave |
Problem Title:
Calibration |
Problem Description:
I need a recommendation for calibration of my Pelton & Crane autoclave. I do not have the owner's manual nor do I know what model it is. Above I just guessed. |
Solutions |
1. So can you make sure it is a Magnaclave sterilizer? This is the biggest size sterilizer which Pelton Crane makes. Before you calibrate this machine, please make sure its bellow works properly. It means there are very few steam keeping flowing out the exhausting tube. This will let the air out of the chamber. Only 100% steam inside the chamber can make sure that the chamber pressure matches chamber temperature. After that, you need a high accurative pressure gauge and temperature gauge. Then you can do the calibration. Magnaclave is a manual sterilzier, its calibration is not as complicated as Pelton Crane digital sterilizers, such as: Delta. |
