Sterilizer Manufacturer: Scican Statim |
Model of Sterilizer: Statim 2000 |
Problem Title:
240volts to 110Volts |
Problem Description:
Customer has purchased the Statim 5000 on e-bay, a US Version 110V at 60Hz. He requires a set-down power unit for this device to operate on Australia power, 240V at 50 Hz. Have attempted technical information from Statim - no reply. Question: How sensitive is the Statim 5000 to a change in the mains frequency from 60Hz to 50Hz. One would assume the electonics and heater would be OK. but we have noticed the unit has a water pump, not sure whether the pump is AC or DC. Or does one assume that the unit is total electronically controlled and everything is controlled by DC Voltages. If so, is there an Australia mains transformer for the Statim 5000 as a spare part which can be purchased. kind regards Peter Terlich on the behave of Dr Jim Yannopoulos |
