Problem Title:
Help |
Problem Description:
We have a P&C OCR which is not heating or pressue at all, what part do we need or do we need to do, it is a rebuilt one by all. |
Reasons |
1. If this is a OCR rebuild with autovent and has the chrome door, the reason for no heat is most likely caused by a faulty TCR4C relay or bad heating element. |
Solutions |
1. The cover would need to be removed after disconnecting the ac power by unplugging the sterilizer from the wall. There will be two relays in the back of the machine, one has three connections and one will have either 6 or 7 connectors. Wires #1 and #2 on the relay with 6 or 7 connectors will need to be taken off of the relay and attached together to bypass the relay. Make sure they are not contacting any other part, plug in the ac power, set to sterilize and turn timer on. If heat light comes on, confirm that heater is starting to generate heat before turning off and removing from ac power. If heat was observed, a new TCR4C needs to be installed. You can call us and choose ext. 236 if you have any questions on this procedure or need to order parts. |
