Sterilizer Manufacturer:
Tuttnauer
Model of Sterilizer:
Tuttnauer 2340M/MK
Problem Title:
no power to autoclave
Problem Description:
I've tried plugging into another outlet, but there's still no power. The timer still works & it'll still fill with water inside.
I'm thinking fuse, but what do I know?
Reasons
1. Yes, it could be a fuse. It can also be a switch or burnt wiring on the heaters. If you have the timer that switches the power on, it may also be a bad timer contact. Other possibilities could be burned out heaters, defective overheat temp controller.

Solutions

1. Do any lights come on? You may want to check and replace any fuses as needed. To go further, you will need to unplug the unit, remove the cover and visually check for any burnt wiring and then an ohm meter or at minimum, a continuaty tester would be needed and a volt ohms meter would be preferable.
