Problem Title:
Autoclave problems with heating up
Problem Description:
We e-mailed you about our autoclave on 8/13/08 and how it was having problems heating up and when it did it wouldn't hold the temp, you said to heat it up to 270 - 30 psi and turn the main valve counter- clockwise to fill and turn the time off. Then we emptied it and refilled it, before it started heating up all the way the heat light started flashing but we are not sure where the overheat protector is to make sure it stayed closed because we no longer have out manuel.
Reasons
1. adjust overheat protector or temperature control.

Solutions

1. If you remove the cover and looking at the front of the sterilizer, the overheat protector is on the left bottom of the chamber behind the front panel. It's a device that has wirs connected to two terminals and there is one mounting and one adjustable screw on it. To increase temp you need to turn the small screw counter clockwise. Remove knob from temperature controller on front of the machine and adjust shaft for required temp. Put knob back.
