Sterilizer Manufacturer:
Tuttnauer
Model of Sterilizer:
Problem Title:
midmark m11 versus tittnauer ez10K
Problem Description:
considering purchase of ez10K versus midmark m11. I'm a dentist ---No cassette system yet but really considering converting to cassettes in future --- probably mainly small and mediums (I'm starting up now)
.
Questions:
(1) is the tuttnauer inappropriate for cassettes because it does not hav a vertical cassette rack? or can I just place the cassettes on the shelves? or are there vertical racks available from other manufacturers?
(2) how much time per cycle will tutnauer save me? I know they show times for unwrapped instruments, but I am more concerned with times for wrapped instruments and time for cassettes (obvously wrapped as well)

will it make up for the fact that the midmark has greater capacity?
If the speed difference is significant, I'd probably get the tuttnauer

(3) last and not least, I have heard that thge midmark has more problems with the electronics, maybe becausethey are located over the door, and that the tuttnauer, being local and having a two-year warrantee, is simply more reliable. Is that true? Obviously reliability is more important than every other factor put to gether, if in fact the midmark has reliability issues.
