Problem Title:
Midmark M7 shutoff in midcycle |
Problem Description:
We have a midmark M7, and recently the unit starts to shutoff in midcycle. It has to be reset. Is that a timer problem or thermostat? Is it worth repairing? |
Reasons |
1. Mostly the direct reason for the power off in the middle, is caused by the over heat protection thermstat. The reason to activate over heat protection is the sterilizer runs out of water. The reason of out of water is there is a leaking somewhere. First of all,you need to make sure there is no leak from the door. Mostly the leaking problem is from the Fill/Vent valve. Sometimes (few) is there is a leaking on the chamber. Usually you can fix this machine by replace door gasket or the fill/vent valve |
Solutions |
1. follow the above analyse in the reasons. You can try a new door gasket first, if not, replace the fill/vent valve. If still leaking, contact us for solution at 1-800-801-9934 |
