| 1. The side dial is used to control the temperature. Check the temperature reading on the sterilizer. For dry sterilizer, it is suggested to run at 375F. Depends on the load, for your timer settings. However 70 minutes is a little too long. We are hard to give you a suggestion on the minutes. What we can suggest you is to make sure run a dry indicator strip for each cycle. It will tell you the cycle is good or not.
